Dust weekly with a clean, soft cloth. Clean quarterly by wiping over with a lukewarm, mild solution of a pure, soaping agent, such as Lux flakes or Dreft, using a damp cloth. Important – do not over wet the cloth. Failure to carry out simple cleaning on a regular basis could discolor your leather permanently.
Polishes, creams, detergents, leather foods, solvents, varnishes, white spirits and stain, removers should not be used as they can seriously damage the leather beyond repair. In the event of accidents or severe soiling, consult your retainer.
Your upholstery should not be exposed for long periods of time to direct sunlight or placed close to fires or radiators as this may result in the leather splitting or fading.
Sitting on the edges of cushions or on the arm may cause distortion or permanent damage and wear. Sharp objects, such as toys, jewellery, buckles and heels can cause permanent and unsightly damage to the leather. Do not allow domestic animals to claw or climb on the upholstery.
Please ensure that all screws are tightened correctly and checked on a regular basis especially in the few months after purchase of your goods.
As with all wooden products each item has its own grain pattern and shade variations. This should not be interpreted as a shading defect.
